blah

Today has been a blah day so far, but yesterday rocked.

Robin got home from work early...he does that a lot because he's in the canadian navy and they don't do much of anything. He's done with his project for the summer, and so the cheif just told him that there's no problem going to the gyn during working hours or even taking a nap in the middle of the day. Then we went to Mountain Equipment Co-op. It's a store with a bunch of hiking, biking, and camping stuff. Nothing of which I'm really interested in, but we had a $150 gift certificate. I bought a fleece pullover and a pair of shorts. He got a rain jacket and an unbreakable coffee mug. I also got a water bottle. While I was there, I saw this thing that enables women to pee standing up...it was really weird.

Later we came home and ate dinner...it was a good dinner. We couldn't decide what to do after that. Robin's friend Nick called, and we joined his group of friends at the Thirsty Duck. There was about 8 of them. (I don't know for sure) Anyways...we left there and went to this other place. You could dance there, but it wasn't a dance club. It was a little pub with a small dance floor and a band. People were dancing to the Doors and AC/DC and stuff like that. It was loads of fun. Nick pulled me onto the dance floor a few times because I wasn't really doing anything. I only had 2 drinks, and so I wasn't even tipsy enough to dance. But I did anyways...well...I attempted, but I can't dance. Robin and I left a few hours later because it was just so hot in that place. Everyone was dripping with sweat.

One other thing. I put this new blanket on the bed the other night. It is one of those velvety blankets that hotels have. Anyways...I put the cat on the blanket, and he jumped high into the air then off the bed. I've never seen the cat jump so high. He is afraid of anything. He won't even walk on the blanket...he only walks around it. I put him on it again, and he just freezes. It's funny.
